before i start, i just want everyone to know that you should NOT BE EATING PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES. peanut butter as of the past few weeks is contaminated with samonella disease, and my sister is barfing her face off because she had pb cracks 4 breakfast (lol).
moving on to the one, the only, the hypnotic, funky, fresh NAYAMKA. GABRIELLE. ROBERTS. SMITH.
i just want to start out by saying its naI. not naY. everyone needs to stop calling her nay. nay rhymes with hay and hay is for horses. nai is NOT horse food and she never will be.
i digress again. i first met nai in 5th grade after school program. the first thing i ever said to her was “omg, your boobs are huge!!” i didn’t know until about 9h grade that that was super innapropriate to say. whoops. i loved nai from the minute i met her. she is right when she describes herself as “16 since she was 13.” she has always been incredibly articulate.
nai always laughs at my awful jokes. oh yeah, if nai were about 8 inches taller, she could absolutely, positively be a model. she is goooorgeous. i might have to do a second entry about nai because i have soooo many stories that deal with our lives ~intertwining~
nai is a defender. you know that song by train and they’re like ‘your best friend sticking up for you, even when you know you’re wrong’? that is totally nai (the one who is doing the sticking-up).
she is amazing at balancing school, track, and her social life. she is so TALENTED. i love you nininiinni!@2@

tonight i went to my first bball game of the 08-09 season. it was a total blast and i can’t wait to go to another one.
so i got there kinda late and i sat with my dad, kraig’s mommy and alexis. the first thing i noticed was BAM number (not really actually) 00. seriously, that has to be so hard being 00. he has this ginger jew fro thing going on, and i loooove jewfro. he also had a very beautiful face. it’s too bad he plays for SARATOGA. i called him pant size because..well..hes double o!
somebody related to troy kept screaming the most encouraging words to him and i was like…wow…i need someone like you in my life. just walk around with me all day and we will be fine.
i also noticed how there was a white ref and a black ref. WE HAVE COME SO FARRRRRRR ~~~OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA~~~.
in football, you sit so far away you really can’t see the emotion on everyone’s face. in basketball, you can see when peeps get heated. everyone was super intense. colin sacrificed his arm skin during a play and everyone else fell atleast once. that is street cred.
the boys are also very…affectionate. they are like a diverse lil family. when someone takes a foul shot, they get tapped as to say ‘good job, i am rooting for you’ by the other members of the team. this probably isn’t new to anyone else who is apart of the tribe and comes regularly, but to me, i thought it was very nice.
at half-time the two chelseas kidnapped me and took me to the other side. awaiting me were paige, greggy, ryan, mike, nina and matt. the best crowd in the history of crowds. theyre people i actually value and appreciate. they are also very funny. mikes shrieks make my life!!! dude theyre unbelieveable. “FIX YOUR TIEEEEEEEEEEEEE”
the saratoga coach looked like eric roberts (yum) but he had a really bad temper. the aforementioned “FIX YOUR TIEEEEEEEEEEE” was directed at him…after he started fussing with it and it somehow ended up being all jumbled up.
i kept finding myself going “OHHHH! OHHHHHH!!!!!” and “OMGOMGOMGOMG NOOOOO” during the game. its a subconscious thing. every time we would miss a basket i was all

the cheerleaders were there of course. two sports i have failed miserably at: basketball and cheerleading. talk about rehashing awful memories. i dont mean for this to sound creepy, but i totally couldnt stop watching k.pinkham during halftime! she reminds me of stephanie from lazytown (PLEASE DONT HURT ME…i see the resemblance!!)
so we won and that rocks, i am tired, and tomorrow is nai gab rob zmits people iliek entry. CIAO

Police: NY boy dressed as girl to cheat on exam
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Dressing as a girl to take a high school Regents exam in place of another student landed a 17-year-old upstate New York boy in some serious detention. Deandre Ellis, 17, of Schenectady was arrested on a felony charge after the incident Tuesday. City school officials said a monitor verifying that each student was taking the proper exam suspected something was amiss when the name on the test and the person taking it didn’t match.
District spokeswoman Karen Corona said a closer look revealed the test-taker was a boy masquerading as a girl.
Police said Ellis, who was released to probation authorities, was charged with burglary for entering the school to commit a crime. His public defenderdidn’t immediately return a phone call or e-mail seeking comment.

regents week rocks because it’s essentially another vaca. dominique txted me last night while i was at the gym (it was about 830 mind u) requesting a sleepover. it’s an offer i can’t refuse. i’m like fanucci and she is don vito. sweet.
i arrived at around 10 p.m and went straight up to her trundle bed. i was exhausted from lack of sleep/intense workout. this morning we awoke at 9:30 on the dot. i was famished because i barely had dinner so i made pancakes and she made scrambled eggs. the sides were oranges and banana nut mini muffins. it was so good. i am used to eating yogurt with fruit or 1 cup flax cereal with skim milk. yum.

we keep laughing at jaws, but it such a good movie. i saw it for the first time when i was 7 or 8 and i honestly couldn’t swim for a loooong time after. i think a lot of people felt the same way, according to my dad atleast. he was 15 when that movie came out and says people started having psychological issues with swimming in the ocean.

i saw slumdog millionaire yesterday. good..a little overrated. i also watched the pope of greenwich village yesterday. my bb mickey rourke is in it, along with eric roberts (julia’s broski, emma’s dad). not that i expect anyone to run out to blockbuster and watch this because i say so, but ~iTalianos~ and those who like weird *italianO* humour will highly enjoy this. heres a sneak peak from the movie:

in honor of this weeks inauguration, i decided it would be most appropriate to conduct a “people i like segment” with a political undertone. alas, i present:
i will start left wing and then make my way to right wing
when did i meet justine…hmmmm…i guess it was this year but i feel like i’ve known her for longer. she is CRAZY (not jonas brothers fangirl crazy) just like me. i guess passionate is a better term to refer to her as. its hard to not notice justine, whether it be visually (her super long, red hair) or auditorially (she is always yelling about something). she is a vegan and is always bombarded with really asinine questions like “Y DONT U EET MEAT??” or “DO U EET VEGETABLES????” or my personal favorite “KAN U eAT aNIMAL KRACKERSSSS?” i love hearing her sassy responses. she looooves celine dion. i do too but not nearly as much as her. she is a super procrastinator but is brilliant. she has the ability to start a paper at 1 in the morning that its due and it still receives an a+.
she is going to barnard this fall (atleast she betteR) so we are going to hang out and study and do cool city things together. she is kickass (pardon me) friend and i luv her to death!!!! oh yeah her sense of humour is also sweeeeeeeeet.
she is a democrat if there ever was one. justine is a huge obama supporter. if my memory serves me correctly, she called people on behalf of his campaign regarding…obama things. she supports gaza, and darfur, but doesn’t support the war. her stance on politics is what makes her fundamentally different than….
AMANDA.
known to most as “manders” (it might be manderz but im not sure…sorry babe), amanda taj is sick individual. she is senior class president (she must be heaven sent theres no way to deny shees loveee-ly/ perfect skin perfect hair perfume hearts everywhere…if you know what song this is from you are a winner), is on varsity bball, works 1 day a week, is in all the advanced/ap classes, and she STILL doesnt struggle under the weight of her own genius.
i think i met amanda in 10th grade or something. we have a lot of mutual friends which is always handy. today, she sits next to me in ap lit. she is not afraid to hide her intelligence and i LOVE that. some people are smart, i know it and i know that they know it, but they speak/present themselves in a manner where its like…theyre almost ashamed of it? i never thought people actually dumbed themselves down unless it was for reality tv……boy was i WRONG. anywho, shes always on top of ~her game~. she wants to go to yale and brown. to be a lawyer/m.d.
amanda does the morning announcements and i love it. she has so much ENTHUSIASM and she enunciates her words so i mean…of course i like her!
amanda is a conservative. today she said that if she was of age, she would have voted for mccain. she supports isreal, and im guessing she is prolife and fiscally responsible.
even though they are complete opposites, i like justine and amanda! YAY
valentine’s day is coming up soon (24 days). there are a lot of women who are going to be all
because they are single and bitter and they hate knowing that other people are out having a good time at delmonicos or something with their S.O’s while they are inside eating their feelings and drowning their sorrows in a box of godiva chocolates.
it’s cool, everyone ~grieves~ in their own way….but youre better than that!!! i have some suggestions for surviving v-day alone:
1) watch old movies all day with really FOXY mens in them. im talking marlon brando in a streetcar named desire, james dean in a rebel without a cause, paul newman in pretty much anything (but i reccomend cool hand luke), robert redford in the great gatsby. val kilmer in the doors. and although this isnt old watch remember the titans because there are guys with tight football pants on and that is AW.ES.OME. so when your bff gets back from her date with her 2nd rate boyfriend, you call tell her that you spent the day with a bunch of really attractive males (then list all the names off). sometimes its good to pretend?
2) work out. who doesnt feel better after a work out? elle woods once said “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.” i listen to elle because she dumped the jerk warner at the end of the movie, and she graduated from harvard at the top of her class.
3) speaking of harvard…read a book. people are perplexed as to why a lot of intelligent people are rather cocky. thats because they know that they rock. being smart subsequently means being kind of ATTRACTIVE
