this entry is really supposed to be about paige (my official blog mascot) but i wanted to touch on that plane crash in the hudson today…im glad everyone made it out okay and that pilot is an ~*AMERICAN HERO*~ but i just want to take a second and talk about those birds that caused the whole fiasco. seriously, only birds would take down a jetliner. i have a bird, and i think theyre the best animals ever, but they always get themselves in the weirdest/most dangerous predicaments. theyre like the steve irwin of the animal kingdom (may god rest his soul). for instance, look at this situation between my bird and my cat:
so i guess not only are birds a bunch of lil winged steve irwins, but dwight schrutes too. you know how dwight always refers to himself as assistant regional manager when in actuality he is assistant to the regional manager? thats how birds are. they think they are higher up but dont realize that in actuality, they cant even control their own bowel movements. which in my book, makes birds (especially my own) better than your dog.

everyone already knows why i like paige, so, today on this segment of PEOPLE I LIKE, i am throwing an internet celebration to say goodbye to my one and only pp/peapod
when paige told me she was dropping creative writing 2nd quarter AND advertising, these were my expressions:
i was so devasted.
“whyyyy!” i shouted. paige rolled her eyes (as per usual).
“i get to come in 4th period YAYYYYAYYY” was her response.
after contemplating what to do with the rest of my life (since this means i will never see her again), i decided it was a time to be happy. SO NOW I AM THROWING A GOING AWAY e-PARTY FOR PAIGE RUECKERT

this week is so stressful….barf. it’s the last full week before most of my classes end. not to mention this week is the ap lit midterm.so rude. i also have to edit some articles for the sandscript.
what i think of this week :
thank goodness in two weeks i have an ‘senior vacation’ (as kross likes to call it)…otherwise i dont know what i’d do with myself!
edit: omg, check out this lunch menu for the chapin school! before i went to ccchs, i really wanted to go to the chapin school or poly prep in the 212. of course, four years later, i forgot about them but today i remembered and decided to check out their lunch menus. this is soooooooo intense.

paige:
paige is someone ive known since 10th grade in mr. borchardt’s computer graphics class. she sat to my left (but im always on your left…..yes, and now youre getting on my last nerve. switch!!). currently, i have journalism and marketing with her. right now i’m talking with paige on aim.
paige is the bubbliest person i know. she strikes me of more of a ~california beach~ girl than new york (except for when she wears one of her j.crew sweaters…total westchester child). in addition, paige never shuts her mouth. she is always talking. actually, i think she laughs more than she talks. sometimes, in marketing, i’ll glance over at paige and she’ll look back and start laughing.
paige is the kind of person who won’t ever change. when she is 40 or 50 or 60, i imagine she will still be the same pp (nickname!~) i knew in high school. i’m glad to have her as a friend!!
