i met my mom when i was born. currently, we live together.
everyone ive ever met really enjoys my mom. sometimes i think my friends like my mom more than they like me. i don’t really mind though…to me that is a complement. when i grow up i want to be just like my mom. she has a balanced sense of humility. she never takes herself too seriously. i wish i knew how to love /care endlessly, but expect so little (which is what she does).
when my mom hurts, i hurt. we are so in tune to each other. i always take my moms advice before i even take my own into consideration. there is a poem i put on the card i made for her and it says
I see you working hard for me
And wonder what it means:
Whether I will do the same
And give up my own dreams
To offer someone else my world,
A stranger from my womb,
And say: Here, take my life,
So you, not I, can bloom.
that is my mum through and through. sometimes i lay awake at night (lolllll im such a sap) and i think to myself…there is no way i will ever be able to be as good of a mother, or a person for that matter, as my own mom. she is so tolerant of everybody and she is so light and bubbly. she always supports me in everything i do and i feel so badly for people who will never know what that feels like.
to me, my mom is the kind of person God wanted humans to turn out like. her beauty is unyielding and i think she deserves all the wonderful riches life brings.

okay so today i am finally doing a people i like on class legend kevin newman the third. he is a really big supporter of itslaurenservideo.com and for that, i respect him and enjoy him.
kevin and i went to middle school together. i could be wrong but i dont believe we had any classes together. last year we had public speaking together which is hilarious because kevin is so monotone. currently, i don’t have any classes with kevin but he is the kind of person that just shows up and *does his thing*.

in other news, my thyroid is the patrick bateman of all thyroids. it is a raging psychopath and wont cooperate with my body and is being super slow. my mom consulted a herbologist since my actual prescribed medication is sucking. he gave me a ton of vitamins and such. then he dropped the bomb that i would need to cut all carbs and sugar from my diet for three weeks 
oh yeah, butter is a carb and no karen i cant go to taco bell because im on an all carb diet NO CARB DIET AHHH. its going to be almonds and grapefruit and water the next 3 weeks. i told justine i would bake vegan cupcakes with her after the ap lit exam. i guess that means i cant eat one now. no yogurt, oatmeal, or juice. or mangoes. which is essentally what i live on. no lean cuisines either.
i met amy in middle school. idk when or where, i just know it happened. actually, we weren’t even friends in middle school. we weren’t even friends til 10th grade, but it was really 11th grade that we ~*bonded*~. we had french first period together.
amy is such a nice person. it really ticks me off that people can actually be mean to amy. whatever though, because amy is tonka tough. i want to say something mean about those people but instead i will go with a quote from the bible: “give, and it shall be given to you. for whatever measure you deal out to others, it will be dealt to you in return.” aka karma, あばずれ (excuse my japanese, i am very defensive).
amy loves the state Massachusetts. unlike most people, whose homepages are yahoo or google, im almost positive hers is boston.com. amy really wants to go to umass for college. she is smart like that. she also LOVES SPORTS. amy is the only girl i know that religiously watches espn. in french, whenever we would play a game, she would get so intense, which is why she is secretly called the game nazi.
after reading harry potter in la francais last year, it was decided that amy is dumbledore. her hair is long like dumbledores and she could totally tuck it into her belt if she felt like it (edit: contrary to popular belief, she cannot tuck her hair into her belt. she has tried).
another thing i like about ame is that she says how she feels. she isnt going to tell you what she thinks you wanna hear, she’s going to be, as the children say, “straight up”. LOVE that. im telling you, amy is going to be on top one day. she is a triple threat (dancer, student, game nazi).

this week’s “person i like” is katy lynn pinkham. i went to preschool with katy, but i forgot, but then remembered when i stumbled upon a class photo. she looks exactly the same, except her hair is straighter. i started hanging out with katy in 9th grade and we have been friends ever since. i have journalism/creative writing with her.
a huge factor of our ~relationship~ is our mean girls quotes. she and chels malone (and ruane) are the only people that understand this. we’ve been doing this for four years. some people hold on to old inside jokes and it’s like…okay….give it up. this will never get old.
i have atleast 15 more screencaps from mean girls….trust.
anyways, katy is overall a really likable person. shes really outgoing (which makes her a really awesome cheerleader). i also think she looks like stephanie from the kid’s show lazytown…therefore making her child friendly. i imagine she’ll be a cool mom one day. if i ever had a son, i would want a daughter-in-law like katy. i really enjoy katy’s humor. she catches on to the ~subtle nuances~ of others. and i laugh. she is responsible for making me laugh the second hardest in my entire life (i keep track..sad). i feel like i have something else to say but i cant think of it..oh! i know! her s.o is former ‘person i like’ colin so……….um………tell him his hair looks sexy pushed back. before i start, i just want everyone to know that you should NOT BE EATING PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES. peanut butter as of the past few weeks is contaminated with samonella disease, and my sister is barfing her face off because she had pb cracks 4 breakfast (lol).

i just want to start out by saying its naI. not naY. everyone needs to stop calling her nay. nay rhymes with hay and hay is for horses. nai is NOT horse food and she never will be.
i digress again. i first met nai in 5th grade after school program. the first thing i ever said to her was “omg, your boobs are huge!!” i didn’t know until about 9h grade that that was super innapropriate to say. whoops. i loved nai from the minute i met her. she is right when she describes herself as “16 since she was 13.” she has always been incredibly articulate.
nai always laughs at my awful jokes. oh yeah, if nai were about 8 inches taller, she could absolutely, positively be a model. she is goooorgeous. i might have to do a second entry about nai because i have soooo many stories that deal with our lives ~intertwining~
nai is a defender. you know that song by train and they’re like ‘your best friend sticking up for you, even when you know you’re wrong’? that is totally nai (the one who is doing the sticking-up).

this entry is really supposed to be about paige (my official blog mascot) but i wanted to touch on that plane crash in the hudson today…im glad everyone made it out okay and that pilot is an ~*AMERICAN HERO*~ but i just want to take a second and talk about those birds that caused the whole fiasco. seriously, only birds would take down a jetliner. i have a bird, and i think theyre the best animals ever, but they always get themselves in the weirdest/most dangerous predicaments. theyre like the steve irwin of the animal kingdom (may god rest his soul). for instance, look at this situation between my bird and my cat:
so i guess not only are birds a bunch of lil winged steve irwins, but dwight schrutes too. you know how dwight always refers to himself as assistant regional manager when in actuality he is assistant to the regional manager? thats how birds are. they think they are higher up but dont realize that in actuality, they cant even control their own bowel movements. which in my book, makes birds (especially my own) better than your dog.

when paige told me she was dropping creative writing 2nd quarter AND advertising, these were my expressions:

today we have special guest star ANI MINASSIAN being featured as a person i like but there is someone else i’d like to discuss as well. yes this is a ***2 FOR 1 SPECIAL***
today in marketing dan griner told me he reads my blog. he actually knew more about it than i did. i also told him i would give him a piece of gum (the bubbalicious kind…its strawberry but i didnt like it), when in actuality, i didnt have any left. this is my way of paying him back.
dan and i have gone to elementary, middle and high school together but never once were in the same class. i think marketing and pig are the first classes ever that we have had together. oh yeah and his dog toby used to escape and run over to my house every once in a while to play with my dog…weird. anyways, we dont really talk but since he sits directly behind me in marketing, i can hear everything. he is hilarious and in a lot of ways he is better than you.
from what i can tell, two things matter to dan: 1) ani minassian and 2) seinfeld. there are a lot of reasons why ani rocks (which is why i like her) so its easy to see why he likes her. but one time in marketing dan spent a period making everyone quiz him on seinfeld episodes and he knew everything. everything. that warrants respect. in his honor i would like to post some seinfeld gifs. oh and an office one since he has discussed michael scott in the past.
now, onto the amazing, the wonderful ANI
honestly, i cant even think of when i actually met ani. it was in middle school, but i dont think we ever had any classes together then. we had freshman biology together. that was a total blast. sophomore year we werent in the same class but we both had ruane as a 10 ap english teacher and would walk down to get our grades together. she would also sit with us every other day at lunch. last year we had lunch together where we would count to 3 and give colin and birdsall tittytwisters (that is such a weird word to type out…i feel kinda gross now). she would try and argue that we cant pray at the lunch table. HAHA. this year we have marketing together (why do i feel like i am always talking about that class?).
i like ani because its like there are absolutely 0 reasons not to like her. she wont steal your boyfriend or pit you against everyone. she is just a simple armenian girl who is a year older than everyone else because she was born in september of 1990. i think she got her license when we were freshman, lololol. anyway, she really is the closest thing you can get to an all around crazygood friend. also, ani is GORGEOUS. she is so so so beautiful. her hair is also beautiful and means everything to me (just kidding…sort of).
ani also likes to touch my wenis (the skin on your elbow..you learn something new every day). i think she likes the sensation.
i don’t even remember when i met lauren kross. actually, yes i do. it was 10th grade AP english. i sat in the frontmost left desk, next to me was maria, then kross. last year we had lunch together, where kross would always eat…i think it was birthday cake icecream (the yellow and brown kind…whatever kind that is) and cookie dough (or was it cookies and cream) together in a large dish. this year we have marketing together.
lauren is very intelligent. she also puts a lot of emphasis into what she’s saying. you can usually hear it most when she is talking about an idea of hers. she has a lot of those. i would almost consider her a ~philosopher~ of sorts. oh yeah she is clever as well
lauren (i cant stop saying my her our name) is hiiiiilarioussss. its that kind of humour where you need to be able to catch it. its very subtle. she’s got that humour where people gather around and listen because you cant just ignore it. she uses her hands a lot and motions….very vivid imagery.

jonelys marie lozano has been one of my good friends since 9th grade. . she is pureto rican. peeps who dont know her might not know this, but nelly is hilarious. she has this kind of humour that appeals to me. i really like nelly because she has, since day 1, been so so nice to me. she doesn’t do that thing that most girls do where they kinda flake out on you. she is so real. the thing is, we have never had any classes besides lunch together, which just goes to show that our ~*FRIENDSHIP*~ can withstand that distance.
i want to be friends with nelly for as long as possible. whenever i come into a lot of money, i am going to share some of my fortune with her. nelly has so much potential and i want to see her become really successful too.
on a separate note, she is a ~tía~ now!! EVERYONE GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO ABBRIELLA MARIE (THAT IS ALSO DEFNITELY SPELLED WRONG, SORRY LITTLE BB, I WILL LEARN IN TIME).
